In THe NEWS... Corona

Everyone is tripping, I find it hilarious and sad. It's funny but if you think I about the reality of it it's sad. It is a serious illness for sure, but no more serious than many of the things we all face on the regular. Yes it can kill people but the same can be said about any Corona virus mutations from the past 30 years. It's a hardcore virus that can kill compromised persons, that said, the panic is ridiculous and counterproductive. The thing that scares more than the virus is people's irrational reactions to it. I target shoot every weekend like some people golf, and I can't buy rounds right now. That scares me more than any virus. I buy the ammo for sport. I can't buy any now because people with wrong feelings and bad intentions bought it all. On a lighter note heres s couple pics of my recent harvest a week or so into cure.

Ooh! Good call SOBG. I watched Narcos: Mexico, season 2, episode 3 last night.
Peaky Blinders is good to binge a pandemic away. Not the last season, so much.
Netflix keeps my need for needless violence in check. The hands-off violence. Not the hands-on.
 
I dont know about these folks and their last minute grabs, I keep all the supplies I need here anyway. I buy a month (or more) at a time.
What really scares many people about this is the way it spreads, one being contagious before they have symptoms. Tulsa is having all kinds of conferences, and addressing the public. For many this too is causing panic, they tell us they are not testing everyone just those that can prove they have been exposed. They also tell us this will become community spreed, its just a mater of time. And does it really help for them to say every minute to wash your hands?
None of it scares me, hell if I die from it I'll be out of pain!
I have to get to the doughnut shop before the run! LOL
 
First, I never realized that paper towels were such an integral part of preparedness, what ever happened to sponges? Second, my sister works at a tanning salon and business hasn't dropped at all. Different priorities for different folks I reckon. :)
 
You're so much more prepared than we are up north of ya. Our leader is a goof and has been too reactivate and not proactive. It's already in way higher numbers than anyone thinks. How long was China trying to keep it secret before they had to tell the world. How long were people traveling before it was known. Another thing is there are healthy carriers spreading it without even knowing. I order all my stuff from China, who knows who was coughing in my parcel.
 
Does this mean we're postponing, cancelling, or going ahead with the road trip? If we're smart we'll drink lots of hard alcohol a few days before and after getting together. Alcoholics never get sick unless organ failure is involved. Go ask your hard drinkin' buddies when last they had a cold or the flu. By constantly poisoning every bodily opening and pore, germs just get real drunk and die.
I like my weed and praise it's wonderful warmness and medicinal properties and all that, but I don't trust it to keep me from getting sick from one of you yankees. One of you right-coasters. Non-San Diego natives. Some you folk got worser cooties than others.
