No, I'm gettin OLD, I'll be 68 this weekend. But I feel fabulous in spite of some aches, and I wouldn't change it for anything. It's a trip to be this age!!!!!

Great news alltatup i sure would be doin the happy dance. I read now where here just in the USA we can do travel without needing testing to board flights and can freely fly around. We get our 2nd on the 13th. You make me so happy to hear folks getting it done. Of course i'll still mask up in crowded areas but don't plan on doing that real soon getting into crowds never been a thing for us. :D
 
My second is 8am tomorrow and I'm glad for it. A new deviant has been discovered in Arizona that may be resistant to the vaccine so I'm afraid the light at the end of the tunnel is still only a small ray of hope. I'll still mask and self quarantine for some time. I'm a single elder fart so I am grateful for this forum to allow me some learning, conversation, banter and distraction from our world worries. Thanks to all of you for being here! ps: Today is my daughters 47th birthday alltatup. She is having a casino weekend with a friend.

I am always surprised to find I am not one of the oldest on here... I am in my early 50s and I think I may be one of the youngest! 🤣

Unfortunately for me it will still be a little while before my turn comes up but given I am not a fan of crowds it hasn’t been too awful. Glad you were able to get yours!

Yay! It's good to know that the vaccination part is over. Yeah, because of the variants and all the advice, I'll still be social distancing and wearing my mask out of the house.

This forum has made all the difference in the world during the past year...
 
There are tons of folks here in their 60s and beyond!! The old hippie contingent is alive and kicking!!

I have also found it pretty easy to be peaceful at home for the past year: it's been great.
