Here's a thing about growing autos. This is my opinion, others will protest. Pre-made soil is not great for autos, especially new growers, because it may still contain veg nutes during flowering, which you don't need. And since you're growing autos in soil, you won't need veg nutes at all. You will only need bloom nutes.
Having said that, there isn't anything wrong with hot soil. You just have to know how to use it. Giving the pot a good flush before planting helps with hot soil. Start adding nutes at 3 weeks if the soil has 3 weeks of food. When you start adding, start with half strength. Keep good circulation going in your tent because soil has a greater propensity for buglies and wooblers.
