If you had a good budget what would your method be for a secure mid size indoor grow

This is hypothetical question of course...But lets say a friend of mine has a decent budget of around 60k to invest in an indoor grow...He lives in an illegal state unfortunately and is looking for ideas on the best methods for staying safe and off the radar while pursuing an op like this...Looking to do 20 plans on steadily with two cycles of lighting for quickest results two 1000 watt black dog leds, one for each grow cycle..What would your suggestions be on the type of place to do this? Residential, commercial, etc..I'm thinking his best bet would be to own the spot he does it at as this way there's no landlords nosing around in the affairs.. My other thought was that if the spot purchased was commercial space there would be no standard amount of utility use as every business has a different amount of electricity use in comparison to households which definitely have standard amounts in relation to how many bedrooms i believe...I'm figuring if my friend is the owner of the spot the only other real concern would be the power companies getting suspicious given excessive use? Any good excuses for high utility use? In either residential or commercial scenarios? Given a decent budget is solar power worth considering to avoid the problem entirely? Any thoughts advice or input is much appreciated..Thanks!
 
The best excuse for a high utility bill is to pay the bill the power company last time I checked is in the business of making money.
 
Morning Moreindoor, Brother I wish i could help you but I ain't got a clue.
But I'll tell you what I would do cause its illegal as hell where I live to, and that's scary for an old man like me.
I'd gather all my family, everyone one of them and move out of my state, and move to a legal state.
 
I f he has that type of budget I certainly would go solar my electric bill is outrageous and I do 6 to 10 plants at a time I think he would at least a 20 x 20 space bigger would be better
 
@OJH , if I wasn't so damn old ,I'd check into that house.
Back in the day Mississippi was one of the first states to decriminalize mj, but that was when Dem.JimmyCarter was in office, now we got a redneck Gov. And that basta-d has turned it back into a hanging offense, lol
PS , does that house have an acre or two that goes with it. If you was to guess, about how much do they want for that house ??

Definitely solar to rain in costs and remove suspicion u can supplement with reg.electric. Some are caught because of smell that seems to b the main culprit I have found a chimney works at putting smell at a good distance from site 3 stories high. I’m a small grower 8 plants going right now but the same principles apply keep it on the low down as quietly as possible shhhhh!
 
.My wife has this ambilacord attached to our grandkids and she won’t move,or I’d already b there. Lol
 
Agreed. Rural private property. I like the idea of wind power as that can potentially produce 24/7 if in the right spot and on cloudy days.
 
i do like the idea of that as well but have you looked at the cost of a wing turbine installation? Generally more than the cost of 60k in itself from what i've seen!

The solar panels would eliminate that factor though that's the idea right?
 
What size of room are you working with? You could flower a 10x10ft room with 2 of those black dog leds (which is 10-14 plants depending on size)
Your veg area only needs to be about half that size and wattage.

You could do a 3 light Bloom room with a 2 light veg room.
This is a good sized responsibility and can get you about 20 plants every 60 days or so. The electricity bill around here for that setup is about $250 monthly. A carbon filter or two will be all you need for smell. Invest in a high quality, efficient A/C to save on kilowatts.

Your friend must really smoke a lot of weed to need to grow so much.
 
IDK the cost of that house but my house sits on a quarter acre and it worth about $200,000 , NH would be a much nicer state than this shit hole lol
