I Screwed Up

Potting Soil Pro-Mix HP.
Grow Light Phlizon 1200 watts LED grow light.
Grow Tent 36 inches by 36 inches by 72 inches high.
Circulation 2 six inch fans.
Added Heat 1 incandescing fifty watt light bulb.
Humidity 48% to 54% depending when I water the plants.
Temperature 70 degrees F. with lights off. 78 degrees F. with lights on.

Gave my plants their first nutrients at half of the suggested level for what was recommended for a first feeding and I got what looked like tip burn on some of the leaves. After reading the tutorial on nutrients, which suggested that I check my PH levels, it turned out my PH was 7.5 which was a little high according to the tutorial. I use a two pronged probe that you just stick into the pot with a meter attached. Got some PH down and adjusted the water PH to 6.0. I then used this mixture to flush one of my pots and the PH dropped to 6.9. I am a little hesitant to add nutrients at this time, a little gun shy.

When should I try adding nutrients again???

It's when they're ready for some, and sorry I'm not trying to be a smart ass. I can't give a time without seeing and knowing more I would probably water (always ph between 6-7 with or without food) only once more then give em a 1/4-1/2 dose of what your label says. It's always better to give not enough, to much is harder to fix.
 
I "PHed" my water before and after I mix it with the nutrients. Also it would be hopeful to have a pic or two for a visual diagnostic.
 
Adjusting your pH both before and after you add nutes is harmless, unless the original pH of your water would mean that doing such a two stage approach would require pH Up to be used during one stage and pH Down in another. Surely it’s not good to mix pH Up and pH Down in the same solution if you can help it. Don’t you agree?
 
I use tap water so sometime it fluctuate... On occasion I do check the ph before mixing the nutrients after i check it again to ensure it's between 6,0 to 6.5.
 
Why do it before adding? It’s going to be altered with whatever you’re putting in. Just seems like double work to me lol
