browsing seeds and strains...I have a list of about 70 strains I wanna try. Basically my next 7 years of grows.

ill never get to grow them all. /sad/
 
Ian, I have had the same problem!!! Seed-buying is addictive!!!

The way they write up the descriptions of seeds is very seductive, they make it sound like each strain is soooooo different and unique and unlike all the others. But I am in the process of organizing all the seed strains I have already bought, and I have discovered that when I go back and research the strain, I have the variety I need. Here's how I'm doing it:

GREEN CRACK fem Cali Con Flower 8 - 9 weeks Height Medium-Tall THC 15-20%
Genetics: Skunk #1 x Unknown Indica. Indica dominant. This is the real deal Cecil B Green Crack Aka Cush.
Effect: mentally invigorating, motivating, self-confidence, good for day use, fights fatigue.

ICED GRAPEFRUIT fem Female Seeds Flower 8 weeks Height 45" THC unk, CBD low
Genetics: Grapefruit x Ice, sativa dominant.
Yields are excellent and the buds have an enticing smell of fruity grapefruit and black hashish.
Effects: Strong physical and mental pain-killer/ anti-depressant.

LITHIUM OG KUSH fem Nirvana Flower 8-10 weeks Height 25-45" THC high, CBD low
Genetics: OG Kush x Master Kush.
It grows into a dense, bushy plant which will need a degree of pruning to keep it in shape and to allow light penetration to the interior bud sites.
Effects: Calming, anti-anxiolytic qualities to banish anxiety, uplifting and euphoric in nature--a natural anti-depressant.

When I'm finished, I want to be able to see very quickly which strain I want to grow next based on the effects, and if I can grow certain strains together in my grow box depending on size and flowering period.
 
I have 2 different lists, my hand written notebook with heights, flower times, THC and CBD contents of known, and approx yield. Effects claimed. When I consume I will confirm or refute the efficacy of claimed effects.

My second list is a digital wish list on seedsman, that one is mainly for strains to try in the future. The ones on this list tend to be lower yields, but aesthetically beautiful. They go into the hand written notes when I actually order them.

But the wide variety of strains available makes me wish I had my own warehouse and large budget just to grow strains that interest me for fun.

It's crazy!!! We've all become like kids in a candy shop, except that there aren't any seeds for a nickel!!!!! I seriously wonder how many years it will take me to grow the seeds I have now... But I am talking years... Of course, I can only grow a maximum of 8 plants at a time, depending on how big I want to let them get.
 
I have enough seeds at the moment to do 3 more grows using the strongest of the pair concept.

There re are some really pretty strains with pinks, purples and red and orange. I just wanna grow and smoke them all and keep a nice photojournal
 
alltatup I think that is how seed banks should sell them with all the important info right there wow would that make it easy . going to get me some green crack lol. I have a bunch of seed for the next few grows as well as some hermies and accidents from past grows
 
I've tried many strains during my travels. For me and controlling my anxiety (and chronic insomnia), just about any high thc strain does the job. It comes down to taste, smell, onset of effects, and that hard to describe feeling of vascular dialation. I literally feel my blood pressure decrease and my body getting more of what it needs from my blood.

When harvest time comes I'm making BHO from the trim and lower buds. I get so productive creatively and physically make those ideas into reality. My entire grow room was built on BHO in a month.
 
I had to make a purchase last week from a trusted source. One of the strains was Platinum Purple Kush, which was the first one I tried at night. It kicked out the anxiety, totally relaxed me, and kept my mind clear. Fabulous. Amazing what they are doing with hybrids these days...
 
BHO is a high purity extract created using Butane to bond with the good stuff in buds and trim.

The extract is heated or vacuum evacuated to boil off the butane and leave only high grade Hash Oil.

Butane Hash Oil.

Just one of many ways to do extracts. Dangerous to do indoors as people are stupid and blow themselves up real good.

But it is one of four ways I know how to make various extracts.
