@Xena... for heat issues, not all LEDs are equal and manufacturers of cheap LED panels take advantage of buyers not being aware of that. Cheaper/older LED chips (say 2 years old) are cheap as beans in bulk...like a few pennies per LED chip when bought in bulk. The electronics and flimsy heat-sinks can be assembles in a Chinese factory for only a few dollars per unit (literally...maybe $5).
So those cheap LED fixtures that everyone flocks to are build for less than $10/unit. Quality is always questionable at best, negligible at worst.
