I need advice

No Title

Could use some watering advice. I'm watering again tomorrow. Everything is normal. Watered with nutes and molasses last time. Suggestions for this time?

She is just so beautiful!!!

Don't burn those buds with the lights!! I'm no expert on lights, but you CAN burn buds if the light is too strong. You've got time, Jeg, so don't try to rush it.

Hi Jeg, hope the girls are okay. You can look at photos in their dark period with special green lights. One project I've always wanted to do but never actually have done, is to set up an old cellphone as a remote webcam to look in on my grow. Combine that with a remote switch for the green light and you'd be able to check your girls from anywhere anytime.
In theory anyhow ... or you could grow autos, they don't care who looks in on them or at what time :)

With CFLs I've gone as close as 3" inches with lower wattage bulbs. The really big CFLs (like a 60W+) can burn that close though.

I use canna nutes in coco, following their system I give the pants a big boost of P & K when I see the fan leaves start to yellow in mid flower. This said, plants get kinda finicky in late flower so I wouldn't advise making any big changes right now. Plant looks great, all that's left is the super #1 top secret to growing weed ... patience :)

Thanks. Good morning. I've waited 15 years to start back smoking and been wanting to grow for 25 years. I got this I think. Lol? Patience that is. You are so right what you said a few days ago about our relationship(plant and me). I spend a lot of time just hanging out with her because... I don't know why. I'm also a realist(?) cause reality is even if I cut her today it will be atleast a month before she's cured right?

Wow, you waited 15 years to smoke again!! I had long periods without weed as well, but when I rediscovered it in 2005, and the incredible kind bud that was being grown, there was no turning back. Yes, you do have patience.

Here's my experience on grow 2: After my weed was dried and the RH was down to around 65% in the cure jars, I gave it a try and it smoked well. It seemed to smoke better a coupla weeks later around 60-62%. That was around the beginning to the middle of March. It smokes fabulously now: my friends a couple of weekends ago said it was like butter, and that it's gotten harder to smoke and taste the weed they get elsewhere because there's no comparison. I hear some folks say that a long cure doesn't make that much difference, and I wasn't sure for a while, but now I feel very strongly that a long cure is a very good thing for weed.

It's important to make sure it's in the right dry range when you put it in jars so that you don't get any problems with mold. It's also a question of how much humidity there is in the environment. I learned everything about the proper dry and cure on GWE, and took tons of notes from there that I still consult.

I use these hygrometers (after trying some cheaper ones that were shit):
https://www.amazon.com/Caliber-Digital-Hygromter-Western-Humidor/dp/B00JXOKQVW

This is the one recommended by Nebula, and I would have saved a chunk of change if I had bought it in the first place... Oh well. Anyway, when I get the dryness down around 65%, that's when I put the buds in my jars with hygrometers and make sure the RH doesn't climb back up above 69%. I keep my jars in the coolest and darkest closet in my house. If the RH stays around 65, I let em breathe for a few minutes daily and shake them gently to unstick them from each other, until RH is down to around 60-62. Then I take out the hygrometers and put in Boveda 62 packs, and let them cure away. If I am out of cured bud, of course, I test the curing weed on a regular basis... ;-}

I keep the Boveda 62 packs in my cured weed now, and I love them. They keep the bud from drying out.

AND, Jeg, if you cut her today you won't get the best quality weed. Waiting for the trichomes to get cloudy is maybe the most important part of the flower phase. All the best curing techniques in the world won't make bud that wasn't ready to be harvested top shelf bud.

If the triches are immature, as I'm sure you've read on GWE, you'll get too racey of a high, or even a paranoid high. You really don't want to smoke immature trichomes. Have you got a little hand held microscope? Practice will improve your ability to see the triches up close with those things; they are hard to hold still, but really worth the investment. Only around $10 on Amazon. Just take off your glasses if you wear em, and then you can focus in. IF you start examining the triches now, you'll start establishing a basis for comparison between immature triches and big-headed, milky triches.

I love it when you talk to me. Sometimes I feel like we are carrying on a conversation for the world to see! I would love to have your entire setup and I think you know this. It's so clean and pretty. But I am poor-ish. I made what I consider a very mature decision two days ago. Scraped together some money to go find a bag and came back with dirt! If you ever want to hear my story I'd be happy to tell it. Not sure if anyone else wants to though so it might need to be a p/m. Anyway hope you have a wonderful day. Love all of you in some weird don't know you kinda way!

We are in a DIALOGUE, Jeg. One of my favorite philosphers says that the dialogue transforms us: if you always have to have the last word, if you're never wrong, if you talk down from above to others, you're not in a dialogue. But a true dialogue allows me to change the way that I think, because I let someone else's words have an impact on what I say and what I think. I certainly can't be the expert with my GWE buddies, but I can share my experiences and perspectives--and perhaps they will give you an insight. What you have shared has certainly given me insights!!!!

I know I'm gonna run out of weed before I harvest my sativas, but I don't think I can ever go back to buying from someone else... Ima have to white knuckle it for a while...

I really could use someone's advice. Putting the question out a couple days early in hopes of getting the answer in time. Based on my current trichs color it looks like I still have weeks. I'm currently giving recommended doses of tiger bloom and I had started adding a little blackstrap. Am I ok to continue this schedule or should I change anything? Oh, I only do this every other watering.

I see no signs of rot maybe mold? Not sure how. Maybe light burn? Old age? Guess I'll just cut it out and hope for the best.
