A family member recently bought a small farm East of Colorado Springs. The previous resident was a renter, and he left behind part of his grow, around 10-15 plants. I don't know what to do with these plants to help them fulfil their potential. My family member isn't anti-canna by any means, but doesn't want the plants, so they're mine now. The grow is outside in the ground, no pots, but the soil is very good - it is a functional farm after all. The plants look healthy, most are around 30-36 inches tall +/-, slight yellowing of some of the lower leaves. Here's my big concern: The days are warm, but the nights are cold. I've never grown before, so I don't know what the tolerance is for cold overnight temperatures. I'm afraid the good growing season is ending, and the buds aren't mature yet. I don't have any pictures, but the hairs are still white, though they are curling in. Also, I live about an hour away, so I can't tend the plants every day. I need any advice I can get about the best way to care for the plants before harvesting. Thanks in advance!

Thanks alltatup, great info in that link! It sounds like I'm fine, at least for now. Daytime temps are probably not topping 80, nighttime temps are probably dropping into the mid-50's, but there's definitely not excessive humidity. I would guess that I have about 3 or 4 weeks until nighttime temps start dropping dangerously low. I think they'll be ready to harvest before then, based on cruising this website. Fingers crossed!
