SOIL I don't know what is wrong with my plant

Crunchy as in? Dry and crackling when you touch them? What is your RH (relative humidity)? I'm not sure what's wrong, I'm a new grower.
 
Then it could be due to that, too dry. Also root problem can look like anything. Do you check your pH before and after watering, from time to time?
 
I was really concerned about the ph so I actually water with bottled water (Evian) so the ph should be at 7. I tried increasing the amount of water and it drooped considerably until the soil dried mostly before it "perked" back up
 
pH of 7 is the maximum. If I remember correctly, MJ have a tendency to increase pH of soil over time (by draining the water and such), so a lower pH is better. But bottled water should have a lower pH than 7. Try some pH test to see it (strips are good enough, for starter, then think about investing in a pH pen, seems its nice)
You shouldn't increase the amount of water unless your plant ask you to (dries too quickly, within 24/48 hours). You overwatered it, and it recovered, its fine :) Its by making mistakes that you will learn! No two grow are the same, and no grow is ever perfect.
Try to order some small hygrometer online (2 bucks! the cheap chinese still worked for me) and check your RH. That's all that come to my mind now... Do you use nutrients or did you amended the soil?
 
Did you increase the dosage slowly? How often do you give nutes, every other watering? I don't think that's the reason for crunchy leaves though. You give a lot i think, but not too much either. Depends on the frequency you give it.
 
Once a week doesnt mean much, if you water only once a week for instance then its not good. But I guess you water twice a week :) So it should be fine... Anyway, once again, check for RH using hygrometer. Let us know.
 
I was afraid it was bugs, but I haven't seen anything and I've spent a lot of really close up time staring at it trying to figure out what was wrong. I have upped the water but nothing is really changing
 
🌱 Could you post an updated picture? And also can we see it in the setup under your light? Have you been checking the pH? That is the most common reason to see nutrient deficiencies. How often are you watering it? What's the temperature and humidity? 🌱
