Hydro root question

Once a hydro grow I'd done is there any medical or recreational use for the roots?

I do not know for sure, but I remember reading an article (WAY back in the late 70's) that stated that the THC was manufactured in the roots of the plant, hence, the reason for hanging the plants up side down when drying. I have never tried to, but if the roots were dried, allowed to 'cure', and ground up, then you could try either alcohol or dry ice extraction on it and see what becomes of it.
