Humidome???

So planning my start of the next grow and I will be germinating seeds this time. I'm looking at following these instructions because it's the soil I use, but I don't have a humidome. Do I really need to do all this, or is there an easier way to germinate my new babies?

There is an easier way....right in the soil knuckle deep and keep damp not drippy wet.......Also grab a t5 and keep it around 3" above....3 to 5 days and your germed.....maybe alittle longer on the slow ones...But close....Happy Growing....its a blast.....

I have noticed in alot of articles it and google people talk about keeping them in a dark unlit area until germination....Just the opposite....Light them up from the start to germ.....Just thought I would add my 2$ worth......

There is no need to have a dome or mist/spray seedlings !

Buffo420 i have not had good luck, or luck of any kind actually, without using some humidity containing apparatus. i think best germination method is a relative or contextual question, meaning it depends on you and what you've got going on... for example, when germinating recently in paper towels with a CFL nearly touching paper towels, i overslept one morning and in that 1-2 hour period they got too dry. i was crushed. so i learned that, for me, a humidity dome or clear pyrex on top of clear pyrex ( what i use) might be better bc i don't want to risk having something like that happen again.
