Would it be beneficial to have RH up around 70/80% and then let it come down to say 30-40% for a day or 2 to simulate a hot summer day or leave the humidity at optimum levels for the whole veg cycle?

Oh come on you're killing me but you make a good point I sometimes come off kinda rough and to the point and probably a dick head I apologize to all for that I will change that bad habit I have
