Seems we have not seen much down on the floor here in So. Oregon, got some rain but mild temps mid 50s f . Sunny days, but like last year same pattern I think we will see winter till April. We've had snow in June up in the higher elev. Nothing like you Easterners get.

200" of snow Mr.furley? Nuh-uh. There's no such thing as that much snow. Anywhere. Ever. 30 days or 30 bazillion days. Don't try to show me photos. Every 8 year old school girl knows how to Photoshop. Snakeoil salesman. Pfft. 200" of snow. As if. I might have to flag that one.

Gingerbread you should read before you judge or insult. There has been a few states that have had over 200 inches of snow fall in a calender month read below

Tamarack, California, holds the record for the most snow in a calendar month with 390 inches (32.5 feet) in January 1911. That is nearly twice the average snowfall during an entire winter in very snowy Marquette, Michigan, which averages about 204 inches annually.

Aw heck, Nute. No judgement or insult. The Photoshop joke is a running joke. Like, Photoshopping a 12' solo cup in a park with Han Solo in front. Same-same with snake oil salesman. That's more of my personal running joke and compliment. If I accuse someone of some sort of witchcraft, it's also a joke and compliment. If I tell you I like your clothes, that's an insult because my fashion taste is zero and my socks are usually dirty.
Besides. I never insult people directly. That's not nice. I believe in being nice when I insult someone. Just ask alltatup about me and cats. She hasn't spoken to me for a while. Maybe you should hold off on that. Was it she whom I told I liked her shirt? Damn. Forget about alltatup.

Cat looks exactly the same! Like, exactly!!! Won't it's hair grow back?
Laugh so hard, milk came out my nose. Not a fan of your shirt SoOrbudgal. Not a fan at all.
Man-o-man...

My Vermont family got over 500” for the season a few years ago... pictures were incredible and snow roof rakes were a rare commodity but essential

500"? Better than 41'? Taller than my building.
I want to live where the climate fits my clothes. I imagine getting to the top of the snow. Dig a hole down and at an angle to the liquor store below. Tie a rope near the top of the hole so I can pull myself up. Every time I want to get a tasty, tasty, chocolate iced, Mrs. Freshley's bun, I can bungee cord a baking sheet to my ass and slide down to the liquor store. An indoor ski slope. As long as it doesn't collapse and kill someone, and I have to dig another tunnel around the dead person, I can't see anything wrong with this.

In UP Michigan we used to snowboard off, and jump off, house roofs into the 10’ of snow in the back yard. The hardest part was walking back to the house in that snow pile.

Yep... 500”. Don’t forget it was over the entire winter but that winter starts in October and runs into May at times. It’s also within one of those geographic climate zones where the moisture laden clouds from Lake Champlain pass over mountains that create air flow and drop moisture and it’s so friggin cold. I’ve skied there at -51 F ....one Easter it snowed 22” and 15 miles away...nuttin

As expensive as the generators for the frequent power shut offs. We’re moving to Washington state in a few months. Can’t wait!

alltatup My daughter got her mats shaved off. She was a homeless then shelter kitty we adopted for her. Her hair will grow back and my daughter will keep her groomed brush her so those mats don't tie up her limbs she had trouble stretching. She is so happy to run freely around, she'll look like this again.
