how to top if the plant doesn't grow 2 even branches on each side of a node?

The branches of my plant to grow with 2 even branches growing out the side of a nide that will eventually produce a cola. It grows one branch out one side, then up a little further, a branch out the other side. So what do I cut?

Just about every cannabis plant will grow alternating nodes at a certain age.
