How to lower ph

What is the best and quickest way to lower the ph in my soil? Through water or a soil additive

using water with high EC/ppm, meaning hard water or water with nutrients, adjusted below the ph target. for example adjust to ph 6 until runoff stays around 6.5 and then keep watering at 6.5

My city water is 8.3. I use 1/4 tsp/gal of Earth Juice citric acid crystals to drop and stabilize at 6.2-6.5. I use a FFOF, FFHF, perlite and worm castings soil mix and organics fertilizers as needed. Fem and auto grower.
