Last summer I got a Dark Star clone that had WPM. This was the first time I'd gotten a clone and didn't even think to clean it and contaminated my whole grow. Luckily the DS was pretty resistant, but my other plant was not. I was able to decontaminate after that grow, and have no issues now in week 3 of flowering into my latest grow.
Would removing most of the soil from the roots, and soaking the whole clone in an H2O2 solution be sufficient to get rid of WPM? I did this after the grow before drying/curing and it worked great. Usually I wouldn't bother, but it's an incredible pheno and my friends are raving about the pain relief it provides (and it's a great dark dark purple with a great chocolatey smell ). I would like to try to get another from him if he still has it, and just take my own clones down the road.
