1000 watts used per hour is a kilowatt hour (that’s the way electricity companies charge you) so take the number of hours per day x .40 x 30 days x what rate your electric company charges per kwh.
You can buy 10$ socket power meter on ebay or where ever. The power lights will use most often is lower than power written on the lights, and also use less when dimmed down, if that is doable on Your lamp.
