How should I store trim if not going to use right away?

Hey everyone,

Quick question here... how should i store the trim from my harvest until I'm going to use it?

Right now I have some in a ziplock bag stored in about a week. I'm concerned that it may go moldy. What's the best course of action I should take? Should I throw out what I have in the bag (lesson learned)? The excess leaves and trim has turned a darker colour. I plan on making butter out of it.

Any help would be appreciated! Thank you!

Definitely need to dry and cure just like the rest of your flower. After curing, I keep my loose trim for making edibles in 1/2 gal Mason jars. Next crop, I'm looking at doing an etoh extraction to make hash oil. It's much easier for me to make my edibles from oil rather than making CCO.

Freezing it is the best for long term storage. I let mine cure in the fridge to help prevent mold during the curing.
