Tw0 questions: 1) When do start keeping track of the age of your plants ie; 1 wk, 2wks etc> is it when they pop their little heads out of the ground or from the start of germination.
2) When do you start giving nutes. I was told when they lose their small round leaves.

I just grow autoflowers - I start 2 every month - have 5 growing - usually put a stick in the ground and a little masking tape with the day they come out of the soil.

I start counting the day she pop's above ground, I grow in coco coir, I start nutes on day 8. But we need to know what medium your growing in to say for sure.

Sorry. I'm an old plowboy who knows what true soil is. If your soil is right you wont need any fertilizer. Well... maybe at the end of a grow if you over watered & had a lot of overflow depleting your soil.

I came from the farm and grew up building soil, if you get in it whats needed you do not need fertilizers. My last indoor grow was tired soil and water only, all the way to harvest.

To answer the questions at hand,, I keep track of autos from sprout with details.
I track photos when I have a growing plant, and if inside flip when I am ready.
As far as ferts I change things around, this grow has had Voodoo Juice and Fish Sh!t (not nutes). I read the plant and she tells me what she wants, if I did not build the soil correctly.
