how often to add nutrients.

Following directions on the nutrients I use, I wonder if I should only add them once a week or every time I water them? For example one set of directions states to use the product during weeks 2 through 4 of the flower stage. I tend to water the plants every 3-4 days.

Most nutrient manufacturers have a recommended feed schedule that you can find on their website.
For soil, personally, I feed once per week and water twice in between.

I use soil...I use a pro-mix blended with topsoil and fish compost and preilite.
