How much light for cloning plants

How much light should there be for cloning in a tent

I am using just one bank/ bulb of a 48" fluorescent fixture.
But should it be on 24 / 7 or is 12/12 good? This is for a comfy plant to grow food for my worm/compost bin
With the cloner in the tent and the humidifier my temperature has been between 70 and 77° mostly low 70s with an average of 60% humidity.

I use 24/0 for the first 2-3 weeks, then go to 18/6. That is what works for me.

Yeah I'm just growing comfrey so I've been keeping it on around 12 to 14 hours a day and turn it off before I go to bed and then on again first thing in the morning but I let the cloner run all night.
