How many plants?

Good Morning Folks, Just wondering what you all think on the number of plants that I can grow in my 36"x36"x72" tent with 1 Vipraspectra 450. I've read in the tutorials that 1 plant for each square foot, 9 plants is way to much I.m sure, I would like to grow 4 or so but not sure if the lighting would be enough. My next grow will be Northern Lights Auto's.
 
Morning UncleDoug, 4 would be pushing it, if you ask me ,even with training,
Those NOrthern Lights auto get huge too, I know mine did anyway, it came from Nirvana.

I do the equivalent of 3. I have two of those lights and 6 plants, in a somewhat larger tent.
I think 2 is good, 3 is pushing it, 4 is overkill.
Now, if you add a second one of those lights, then 4 plants would be perfect to max out that tent.
BTW, that 1 square foot rule is for SOGs
 
I got the same size tent, and I can't grow 4 autos in mine, all the way to harvest, 3 is pushing it. Unless you grow the small ones, and they don't always turn out small.
But anyway ,good luck.

Everyone knows I like to grow too many plants for my space! ;)
There is quite a bit of "survival of the fittest" in my tent and at least one plant gets squeezed. But I have fun with it...
 
The 2 plants I'm growing now are proving that 2 plants is right for this tent/light set up, getting taller and wider every day and I still have 6 weeks or so till harvest, so 2 it is.
So to get more harvest I'm now thinking on getting a small veg tent with T5 or maybe a small LED. Any recommendations on tent/light size for a veg set up?
