How many colas before switching to 12/12?

1. My name really is Bubba.
2. Below is a pic of my Superman grow at day 34.
3. Started out with 5 leaf clones, which I promptly burned with the lights too close, overwatered once, yet they are still growing.
4. Now have 20+ colas on each plant using plant training.
5. How many colas can one plant grow? And if I trim some off, will the remainders be bigger/better.

Hi Bubba, Take a look at this page on LST. I don't think there is a limit to how many colas you can grow, provided your plant has the necessary space for root growth, proper nutrition & lighting, etc.

Open up the middle let air &light in,take some and super crop them so u can move them and get light to others must leave space for each cola to grow.looks good so far.

Thanks, reviewing that section was helpful. Not really sure what I'm doing, but they keep growing. Learning as I go.

Yeah, seems like I have to trim some every week. Right now my goal us to clip any fan leaf that is blocking light to a cola and it seems to be working. My other goal is keep plants short, as my set up will only allow for 17" plants after stretch. Just not sure how long before 12/12 switch. I think the answer is to let them grow/spread until they fill the 'floor' space.

Bubba Aren't we all!!! I'm on my second grow, did no training on first, so I'm just messing around with it for the first time. But I sure have learned a lot, and I know there's more to come!!!!!
