How long to veg

Ok I have a 4x4 tent 600x platinum led and a 600w viperspectra led 3 plants that I will veg for 1.5 months will be topping let and lollypoping what do you think

No Title

I keep my plants in veg until I get a bunch of bud sites with topping ,trimming and lolloping .these are my girls at the 3rd week of flowering and then the forth week after defoliating. how long you keep them in Veg is up to you the only thing to keep in mind is how much they will stretch in bloom. some say they can double in size but mine only grow about 6 inches more( thought I had a problem for awhile)

6 weeks is good. just keep ur height limits in mind. they need training to keep them low and WIDE.
growing in pots with good training, 8 weeks of veg will fill that 4×4 tent pretty effectively.
topping to 8 mains with 4-6 week veg, you can go 16 with 8 weeks veg. the more mature the plant, the more colas it can power. to a point. from what im getting, too many tops and your bud size diminishes, but your harvest weight remains about the same. lots of extra trimming time.

"Size does matter" and you should base the veg time upon the plants overall height- not the length of time.
What you do with your size- LST/HST will effect plant height.

OJH, you make me feel so much better. You have mentioned your minimal strech before. My first grow stretched like crazy, all others have not. Drove myself crazy trying to figure out what I was doing wrong!

from what i understand, stretch varies strain to strain. even the length of stretch period. i expected more from the peppermint kush, only about 30% stretch. the kosher tangie i have at 7 weeks veg now finishes 50% taller than the peppermint and has a 4 week stretch period, and they say about 60% stretch.
absolutely agree with you guys about the calendar. its just for reference, lol. its all about cramming as much green matter into your tent as your equipment and space can handle.
