How long for Amber Trics?

My Trics have been Cloudy since Jan 31st. Since that time I've done 3 flushes and getting ready to do a 4th.

Anyone have an estimate on how much longer to see some Amber? Thanks!

There will be no definitive answer as it has only been 1 week and 3 flushes mean you have likely washed away any residual nutrients. Your leaves will probably start to yellow quickly but without seeing the plant it will be hard to make any reasonable observations. Are you seeing any milky, hazy, or cloudy looking stalks or heads in the trichome clusters especially around the calyx’s.

one of my chief complaints over the last crops has been the remarkably long time periods required for amber coloring in trichomes to develop, which, is more of a sign of chemical change in the plant and it’s continued maturity. I had prepared a few labels for curing that I had over a full month difference on.

Thanks Farmall All my Trics have been cloudy for about 10 or more days, and after 3 flushes, I've not had any yellowing leaves yet. Both off my plants are supposed to Flower in 8-10 weeks. (tomorrow will be end of week 9.) So I'm hoping that in another week I'll see 20 percent Amber.

Those statements by breeders a used as guidelines only and not the guaranteed time line for occurrence. I’ve only had 6-10 of my plants over a few years actually come out like that

Agreed I recall someone just posted one that they ran 4wks past stated flower time and still only few amber, but leaf was crispy dry man sometimes it's a decision to just call it?? Can we get a normal grow please:D

Farmall I hear you, Farmall. I'll definitely be keeping track in my grow records things about specific strains for future use: (My flowering times as well as how much a plant stretches after switching to flower.) Of course, no 2 plants are the same and I realize my mileage may vary.

. SoOrbudgal Thanks! I know I'm impatient, but screwing up my previous 2 grows due to light leaks - not to mention wasting valuable growing time - and being out of meds for so long has got me chomping at the bit :frustrated: (I think I read that post you referred to - God, I hope that doesn't happen to me - 4 weeks more may push me over the edge - lol)

Our family is right there with you empty shelves but you and I and others will be harvesting our own weed and plenty of it. That's the plan, hang in there.
