How long does mixed feed stay fresh

I've made up too much water/feed for my plants, namely Rainwater + Biobizz Grow + Cal-Mag. How long can I keep it before it goes bad or should I just chuck it? Next feed is in two days when I get back home.

Someone with more experience with that will chime in I’m sure , but I think some people mix nutes for a couple of waterings or the week. I would say just check the PH before application and adjust if out of range

Hi, 2Sheds.
I mix my nutrient solutions in 5 or 6.5 gallon buckets following GWE's GH Trio + CalMag nutrient solution mixing guidelines for coco coir. I usually mix two buckets of nutes and two buckets of plain, pH'd, tap water. The 20 to 25 gallons of solutions lasts me about a week for 10-12 plants in 7 gallon fabric pots (in outdoor greenhouse grow). I do get a little pH drift towards the alkaline side from a pH 6.0 starting point. I'll adjust down if it gets too basic. Most of the time I do not even check it and the plants grow perfectly fine. Simply check the pH and adjust, if needed. I do not believe the chemical makeup of your nutes will signicantly change over a week.

Depends on the nutes and how they are stored and the water.

One week shouldn't be an issue if using nutes from the same manufacturer, constant temperature and no sudden swings and no light.

I used to do a one week supply in a tank and only ran into problems with nutes that were not compatible. The supply was about 160ltrs (40gal) using rainwater. pH stability needs to be checked.
