How do you guys extract the pollen?

Imagine you have a male plant and it's about to open their pollen sacks. How can you make the process of extracting it step by step?

I read that you should store the sacks with the pollen, opened or not, let them dry for at least 4 days... take off the sacks and let only the pollen and store it with a little amount of flour inside 3 ziploc bags in a fridge.
I'm all right?
