How densely do you pack dried buds in jars?

Just like the title says how much do you squeeze into a jar? Are you most concerned about maintaining the shape of the bud or is expelling max air out more important? Whatchall doing?

True dat what Tersky says, leave space don't pack tight newly cured bud.

Just loosely drop in buds until you get about 3/4 full.

I like to dry the buds then put them in the jar. Gently. Get all you can in but don't push on them. If you jar them before they are dry they will stick together and never dry properly. I have an RH meter for each jar. Also some 62 rh Boveda bags if needed. Mostly I have found you are more likely to jar to soon. Enjoy !! (I've lost every crop I've grown.) series of small fires.

2/3 full, let gravity do the packing. Room to breath but some compression.

I'm in the 75%-80% full for the curing of the buds.
After 4-6 weeks the buds will not be subject to air exchange-
I see no issue with full jars for long term storage.

I agree Weed Pharma when it's totally cured you could fill it and keep long term.

But don't squeeze nothin into jars!!! The less that buds are jostled, pushed or pressed, the better for the trichomes.
