This is mt first time growing. Have a blueberry auto that is 5 months old. I just ordered a jewelers loupe but what I can see from naked eye there appears to be no trichomes as of yet. I have attached pictures. Can anyone give me an idea as to where this girl is at?

Betty, See all of those stringy white things. They are called pistils. When they are mostly brown, or orange, and curled in you should be at the harvest window.

Hello Betty welcome to the GWE forum. Are you sure that's an auto? Nice big plant if it is but 5months long time for an auto. Was she outdoors?

Good point. I have never had an auto go 5 months. i have grown 2 different phenos of GG4. 1 went 90 or so days and the other an unbelievable 137 days if my memory serves me correctly. The second pic is of the late maturing.

So these are the seeds. Picture uploaded. I planted her May 29. Started forming buds at about 5 weeks and they've been getting fatter sloooowly ever since. I would put her outside as I would take her camping but indoors for the most part. I won't ever put a plant outside again as she got spider mites. Took care of those although. She's under red led and I likely made a mistake of reducing the light to mimic the regular day/dark. I recently read that you should keep the lights to more of an 18/6 at least and I think for last bit I was doing more of 10 light 14 dark. Perhaps that had some effect??

OK Betty lets try and figure out this plant's slowed finish. Autos love consistency with light long hrs of light no less than 18on 6off some do 20hrs on 4hrs off. She started flowering like she should all was going well till you moved her in and out. She didn't like the change it shocked her stressed her. Don't know the power of the light your using but needs to be full spectrum like the sun does for outdoor flowers. Yes I do believe you've answered you own question. Do you have a jewelers loupe to check the trichomes?

Ok, I am going to do 24 hrs from now on. Def won't be putting a plant outside again. My lights are 1000W LED. 100 pcs dual chips. I have been running just the red lights since flowering. Should I have the blue and red on? She's also in a west window so gets natural light as well.
So just received my jeweler's loupe and the spider mites are back. Can't win here! Treated them and of course, that's added stress. Some of the pistils are a rust color. Lights 24 hrs, see how it goes. If it doesn' go well, I have learned from this first grow and that is certainly key in successful gardening of any sort.

Do you see any tear drop looking sacks? That's where the hairs come from do you see those?
