Hello everyone! I've finally reached the Home Stretch for my current grow (Aurora) Yes, there were some hiccups along the way like my foliage issues (most all foliage going a light lime green (ok...okaaay yellow lime green). Tried everything to adjust to fix including checking/adjusting ph at roots but nothing stopped the loss of color. However...it didn't get worse!. Things seem to be on schedule for end of this month or early October. Trikes are 50-50 cloudy and clear. I figure one more dose of molasses then flush and then my harvest.

Looking like some nice big colas. The leaf color tells me that the plant has used up most of the available nutrients in your medium. It's a pretty uniform yellow, which is what you are going for with a flush. Your buds should be nice and salt free when you are done.

My grow this season included 2 Super Glue plants and both of them had their leaves go a pale green/yellow so it's possible the light color was genetic. Those are some sweet looking colas. Enjoy.

Flushing is something most growers do in the last few weeks of flowering. The goal is to heavily water the soil and "flush" out any nutrients still remaining in the soil. This leads to better tasting weed, white ash as opposed to dark ash (unburned nutes) and weed that doesn't crackle and pop as you smoke it. If a grower has been feeding salt based nutrients all grow, flushing is a really good idea. Straight Ph'd water or water with a clearing agent like Clearex that binds to the nutrients and draws them out of the soil. Lots of info online, many many opinions too. The goal is to add about 3 times the amount of water than the pot size is. So if you have a 1 gallon pot, you flush with 3 gallons of water. Do that 4-5 times over the last two weeks of flower for smoother smoke.
