Rounding third base and on the home stretch for a few of my ladies. Some heat and light issues along the way but it's somewhat managed now. I believe my Mocha OG is foxtailing pretty bad but there's not much I can really do about it now. Last couple weeks before harvest and I thought I'd share some weed porn. Hydro girls aren't doing great, pretty sure they all had started to get root rot from the heat, and one was too close to the HPS so got a bit burned. Worked out the root rot I hope, so I should still be able to harvest a decent amount. Enjoy the porn.

Hydro are all Straight Lemonade
There's a couple littler ones in there too but they just barely started flowering.

Thanks. The Chemodo Dragon isn't super thick yet but still have at least 2 weeks to fatten up. I think by far my favorites are the Mocha OG (super thick and very dense, high THC bagseed), and the Lemon Meringue (also pretty thick and dense). The Chemodo Dragon is right in the middle on thickness but there's probably a little more popcorn underneath than there should be, very nice smell though. I think the Lemon Poison is going to be a good contender for top yielding plant and it's half the size and still has a way to go.
 
Maybe the Mocha OG is supposed to look like that? This is really my first decent grow so I haven't had a lot of experience with different strains yet. I have been feeding molasses since about week 3 or 4, definitely wish I'd have started sooner. I feel like some of these might surprise me toward the end though. Super excited and can't wait to try them. Should have at least 2 oz from each this time. Next time will be better for sure. I started some plants I will be using for mothers so I will have plenty to fill the tent with. I also ordered some seeds and will probably use one from each for a mother. Going to try my luck with some autos too, chose the auto option for my free seeds. Will be updating in a couple weeks, harvest time.
 
Thanks. I'm hoping they taste just as good as the weed I got them from was, if not better. They're definitely worth a try.
 
Unfortunately those were the only seeds I had for those strains, unless I get more from this harvest. It's not looking that way though
 
Definitely will. I have extra seeds from a few strains, GG, Straight Lemonade and I think some TK91 right now but that's it. Thinking I may try to stress some of the clones I take from the mothers I just planted so I can get some seeds for the future. Also going to make mothers with the seeds I just ordered and going to try the same with them. Spent $120 for 4 different strains, I'd like to make it more than worth it if I can.

Bought 16 seeds this week, waiting for them today. But I’ll never do clones. But impressive totally I would trade with you 😎. Straight lemonade sounds awesome 😍
 
It's pretty good honestly. Tastes and smells just like lemon. I wasn't doing clones for a long time. Just recently I started doing them. I think mother plants are a great idea. Trying for 9 mothers for now so I can have a little more variety soon. I can't wait until they're big enough I can start taking cuttings. I'm excited about the new strains.
 
If think of you get a good grip around the clones and have some success, it can be a little addictive to have clones. Maybe I should try it one day👍🏻
 
I love to clone strong plants great success this past winter didn't need to use my seeds at all. Fall in love with a strain or two and I keep them. Autos are just a fun way to pass the winter time growing indoors. Nothing like a 8ft.+ outdoor photo in the summertime :laugh: if you can grow them.
 
It's definitely cheaper than buying seeds, and cuts the grow time a little bit too. I figure if I can get a few clones, the seeds pretty much pay for themselves. Also, having mothers, I can choose what strains I want to grow. They're all good strains so far but I want a few more. May even swap one or 2 out for a higher THC strain if I run into one that I really like. Goal is to have 9 mother plants and right now I have 6 started. I will be using the 4 strains I bought so I have to choose one of the current ones to get rid of. It will be a hard choice because they're all pretty good lol
 
I wish I could. Last time I tried outside wasn't that great. I didn't take care of it like I should have, but I also had grasshoppers eating my plant so it was doomed from the start. Not only that but it gets cold too fast here. By mid to late October we're already getting snow usually. Not much, but it's still cold enough to freeze the plants. I'll either have to find a short flowering strain, or try autos. Never done autos before but I have a few coming with my seed order so that should be fun. I had the option of fem or auto for my free seeds so I figured why not. I have some Amnesia auto and Blueberry auto coming and it worked out because those were a couple of strains I was looking at. The others should be good too, GSC, Gorilla Blue, Critical Orange Punch, and Cali Bay Dream, all fem. First time buying seeds and I went a little overboard lol
 
You can get almost too comfortable with clones. Then when you have an issue with cloning your whole operation can be delayed because you get used to get plants ready to flower in 3 or 4 weeks and suddenly you need to start a seed and wait 8. After battling pythium I try to germinate new seeds every two weeks just to have seedlings in case cloning it’s not working. When going thru lots of seeds it’s easier to take 4 clones of every plant you grow and pretty soon you can have unlimited clones and only keep cloning the chosen ones. You can accomplish a similar result with only one or two seeds, never having to keep any mothers. just take 4 clones the first round. 4 weeks later you take 4 out of each and you have already 16. You can reach the maximum amount of plants you can grow and take a single clones of each plant before flowering and have a perpetual operation. But again. One single batch of clones that don’t work and you get set back two weeks
