Holes in leaves

I didn't ph my water first go around till I started flowering and I had deficiencies. My nutes drop the ph of my water considerably in flower and it runs high in veg. So that could very well be even though my ph control was super strict. This really didn't happen till final transplants and transition. Not using ffof in the future though.
 
Go with coco, there isn't a better media out there that works just as well for beginners as it does for master growers. You'll get very similar results as anyone else as long as your nutes regimen is proper. Also much less issues with bugs.
 
happened to me too. I think I watered and left some on some leaves, put back under the light and it burned. No bugs were seen
 
Are you thinking about the magnifying glass theory? If so I'll have to do some digging, but I'm fairly sure that's been disproven.
 
yes. I'm in coco and y ph has been solidly within 5.7-6.3. It happens after I water sometimes, next day. No bugs.

Have you pinched tops on this plant ever? Or used lst and we’re a bit rough? I have damaged lots of leaves this way and looked like that.
 
Mine are in fabric pots and sometimes I lift them and accidentally grab a leaf with my thumb and tear it a bit lol
I’m not sounding very graceful haha
 
I’ve used a foliar spray with lights on 24/0 and didn’t notice any issue. I know certain insecticides like neem oil or azamax should be done at lights out. I believe and I might be wrong with at least the neem oil the Light degrades it’s effectiveness.
 
Most of the time in my experience if something burns a hole in a leaf, it's from pH. Any time I get nute solution on my leaves it just leaves a white spot (residue from nutrient solution after the water evaporated). I think I'm pretty overkill on my lights in my tiny tent. Running 2 600w(total 600 true watts) LEDs in a 3x3 reflective tent should be enough to cause the magnifying glass effect if it was going to happen. I've never seen it.

yeah some of my lst turned into cutting off one side or taping it up. I have fabric pots too and not always so graceful myself. But I've noticed new growth here and there that seems to have similar leaf damage so not sure that's my case. I've been keeping an eye on them it's been almost a month since it started but everything seems to be doing well into flower now and did some supercropping and they bounced back overnight. So they are vigorous healthy plants with a few scars lol. I've never seen anything about infections on this site think I may research it a little more.
 
you're probably right. I only have my experience, either way it's good that it's not a threat
 
I believe I had multiple problems which included too high humidity, over watering, topping/pinching and my fans were set up poorly. They've grown nice n big since this post. Everything cleared up for me so I couldn't pin point the problem. Thank you for that link you attached because the random brown spots on my leaves MUST be form that since i have no bugs.
 
I had my fan on max and I can't believe I didn't notice the clawed leaves thought it was just from over feeding. I have the fan pointed higher so it just blows ever so slightly on the plant instead of the direct wind constantly blowing on them.
