Hobbies other than growing??

I can't wait to get the aquarium set up for fish, ordered some. Fake plants too,I'm thinking about how I'm going to incorporate the aquarium and the grow, my mind is going nuts right now
 
I chuckled at the LM bass reference. I threw a fingerling into my 55 gallon tank. He immediately became king and before I knew it had eaten a few of the other fish. It was kind of funny. He didn't last long.
 
Earlier in life I used to hunt a little, rabbit and deer mostly, and I used to fish. I liked fishing for crappie, LM bass, sunfish with ultralight tackle, and catfish. I liked cat fishing at night from the bank and did that a lot. I used to play golf a lot. And I've had a few firearms over the years. I was an FFL for a while just because the man didn't like it. I sold pistols for $20 over cost. I couldn't compete on long guns though. I gave up the FFL when the feds upped the fees. Then I had a career change and didn't have time for hobbies. That was a mistake. I used to raise African cichlids. They are fresh water mouth brooders only found in lake Malawi and Tanginika. They can change colors, and are very territorial but a lot of fun to watch. They are easy to take care of. Even though they are territorial you can pack a lot of them into a small space, as that is their natural environment. Unfortunately, life circumstances caused me to give it up. I could see me with another one though, 'just chillin' watchin' the fish after a good smoke. Now, after a career or, slaving job just to get your pay, we'll see what happens. Growing weed became my hobby, but golf is now on the radar as well.

LOL I too put LM bass in my tank, a pair the same size, got one morning to find only with a tail sticking out of its mouth. It had also nearly doubled in size, back to the creek it came from.
 
golfnrl - Thank you! The shapes are a product of the formulas chosen. Those have their own vibes. I am attracted to some more than others. After that, it's applying the traditional attributes of visual art - lighting, color, composition. I can add a lot of atmosphere. I was hugely influenced by 70's graphics artists -Heavy Metal magazine - Jean Giraud & that crew, Frazetta, Roger Dean, etc. Lots of homage to those styles.
 
Just got the new water filter for the aquarium and I think it's going to work out great

I'm going to re-do my response. I was in a mood. I love to read. Everything. History, psychology, philosophy, politics, science, physics, quantum physics, religion, medicine, law, chemistry anthropology. I'm pretty much a jack-of-all-trades. Especially psychology and mental illnesses. Second hobby, home theater. Third hobby, computers. 4th, I'm into drones. My current medical situation has put me on hold at the moment. My right arm is pretty much useless. But yeah, I'm a closet geek....
 
Does growing something else count?
Microgreens is the only hobby left standing for me, aside from weed and occasionally making hash, as my work takes up more and more time in my life

I count it. I grow bonsai trees and that counts so you should be good id guess. Do you sell them or just eat ? I've been debating using part of my tent to grow and sell to local places
 
Just to eat and share with friends sometimes.
One of these days I want to get project lettuce growing, and have a perpetual harvest there too.
 
I do woodwork. I like to build and refurbish instruments. I just finished the Talharpa. I refurbished one Didgeridoo and the other is my next project. After that, I'll probably build a Morin Khuur afterwards. Super obsessed with the sound of the horse hair on the Talharpa.
