High Winter 2020

Great shots my western friend..! Pic 1 looks very frosty from here. Spring ? Define me spring... Here this morning wife was complaining about the cold lollll How cold ? Well let say a frigid -28F yes -28 lolll

Getting better and better. Love the progress! One day when I grow up I want to be a good gardener like you. 😁

When the snow melted off, the birds were singing a new song, the trees are budding up, flowers are popping up, the smell outside is different than just a few days ago. There is even little chance of frost over the next 2 weeks, but it cannot be spring can it? It's to early! However I fixed the flat on the tiller gave it a lube job, and started tilling the gardens. I just know if I put out plants they will be killed!

Rwise i'm not going to fall for it no way it's to early here. Yesterday 66 f and sunshine my brother in law put in lettuce starts i wished him good luck. We had snow in March 2yrs ago i will not forget that event dumped enough snow we could not get out, trees fell along our road, power out for 7days. Reason we got 2 back up generators now. Peas yes lettuce no :)

Looking great! I have an affinity for those polyploid buds LOL. They always seem extra dense, almost like a chunk of hash :)

Looking great! I have enjoyed following & learning from your Winter grow. We are on our 2nd grow-since we're basically stuck here all winter (Upstate NY, I can see Canada from here) we decided to do a Back-to-back grow before spring/summer hits and I can't be as discreet. 😉
Love the way the clones have progressed-you were right, not to worry they just needed some time.

Dbdigger . We don't mind the snow, it's just a pain to park. Usually have to dig through a mountain of a snow bank. We're in Duane south of Malone. Sounds like you're close.

It was 2007 when we had over an inch of ice, trees falling right after what sounded like a shotgun, still have limbs hanging in some trees from that. It was that storm that sold gen set galore. Then they dont get used and Moma said she wants the space back, I bought 4 gen sets cheap. I have used 1 of them once on a project. The 2007 storm 3 of my places lost power for 45 minutes, the forth lost it for 2 weeks, one is off gird now.
Its not spring, I got bite a couple of years ago, had everything out, even covered and lost everything.

Good morning GWE yes i'm early LOL just wanted to share my beautiful polypoid gal as she grows wider. I just am in love with her is that wrong? LOL:joy:

Today is transplant day for my 4 clones, they can not wait any longer, i'm going to need my t-5 for the new autos and the reflector & CFL ( helps heat tent a tad ) will be outdoors in my 3x3 with the clones and the old Vipraspector 450R 200w draw. This lamp was replaced last spring by company it had early burnout:confused: any way it's only 68f inside that tent with light running 20on 4off hopefully i got timer set for off during early afternoon. My indoor tent is doing great i'm cutting the 2 FBL folgers gals today they are the 5th pic and are 82days from seed. Very sticky, decent yield no real issues with them i'm tickled for a harvest and being able to roll a big greasy fatty LOL.

Enjoy your grows. :embarassed: :big-smile:

Here are my harvested autos. A mixed strain bred by FBL. Would of been a much tighter bud if i had been able to wait for them in flower longer than 3wks before going into 12/12 which i reckon caused more larfy loose bud midway down. These were 82days from seed to harvest. Very sticky icky 15% of both plants showed amber when i could focus enough to see them :doubtful: i'm very grateful to have homegrown weed now. :o They did OK in my book and kinda experimented with the mixed grow and short flowering time do to the photos needing to be flipped so if one has to make the best of it and keep them healthy don't over feed nor overwater, good air flow also stable temps. Happy days

I’m still confused as to why people think buds have to be hard packed like a stone to be any good. My larf is just as potent as my kola buds. Hell....if i pack a bowl for someone and don’t tell them it’s larf...they would never know the difference. 😂

I know what your saying YYCannabis hell i smoke it all hence the brown bag for the teeny tiny buds. I'm all in agreement with ya. I thought in my case to warn newer growers of the potential of less solid buds doing less light times. I got zero complaints on the amount and the upper buds nearest to the lamps are more solid. ;)
