Hi guys, is there difference between grow hid lamp and regular hid lamp ? Or all types of hid lamps can be used for growing ?

Hey, Grow HID have a better color specrum, Specialized for growing. Regular hid are standard street lamps with pretty shitty spectrum.

No, cfl’s are ideal for seedlings. Mh is too powerful for seedlings and is used for vegetative phase. I personally just use hps from Seed to harvest. Agro hps bulbs. Hps is usually used for flowering Phase But agro hps bulbs are good allrounders.

The more important point to my way of thinking is that there's no point in paying to power a big MH bulb for a tiny plant that one 15 watt CFL can take care of. And BTW, CFLs are kinda out of date. LED bulbs have better spectrum, I'm told. I have used both and they both work.
