I've haven't been on here all week & hope I didn't miss anything good! :)
I got an infection in my broken leg bone and had to be on an iv drip w/some very strong and very expensive antibiotics. I had to have a close friend do the harvesting on my Girl Scout Cookies Auto taking the top buds first and then the rest a few days later. I'll get some more pics up as soon as I can.
I have a couple of questions tho...I have new seedlings(almost 1 week old) that I want to move from under cfls to under my galaxyhydro 300w leds but I'm not sure how high the lights need to be. Can anyone advise me on that?
Also I have a Dinafem Blue Kush Auto that's a week (two at the most) from being ready and has NO trichomes on it and very little smell. I've had a hard time with this plant since it was young & it never seemed healthy no matter what I did & it's pretty root bound also so could this be caused from stress? Will it be any good at all with no trichs? Thanks

Hope your on the mend...Best Wishes....On how far away the lights should be?....Green helped last week with this....I had 4 one week old Auto Fems..I was not sure if the lighting system I have would be to strong?.....I have a 600watt HP....Witch has a dimmable ballast witch will go down to 250watt. After talking with Green I have decided to blast my girls with 600watts and as close as I can get doing the hand test....Hope this helps and can't wait to see pics of the harvest....Best.....
 
I have heard that the hand test is not good with LEDs. From the Marshydro web site ( I use the same light), they recommend 24" - 30" for germination, and 18" - 24" inches in veg. Hope this helps
 
That helps a lot. It gets kinda confusing with the leds and so much different info out there. On the paperwork that came with the lights it said .5 meters to 1.5 meters but no details what height for veg., flower, or germination. Thank you Biker

Sorry to hear about your leg....now maybe you will slow down and stay off your 4 wheeler....

Thanks! I make it a point to only keep company with trustworthy friends, which would explain why I only have a few lol. My dad told me once a long time ago when I was betrayed by a "friend" - "There are friends you can call to help you move, and there are friends you can call to help you move a dead body. Keep the dead body moving friends" :):):)
 
rwdyredhead , I have same light as you. My seedlings spend a couple weeks under cfls. I started them 24" below my led from an abundance of caution. They soon took off and were just 12" below in no time. Didnt seem to hurt them any but since ive tried to keep them about 18" away. So far so good.
 
Wow! Thanks Canyon that's great to know. Once they're burnt it's a little late to wonder how close they should be right? I appreciate that so much.
 
I think 18 inches is a safe bet.wish you all the best with your gam just do what the doc says you'll be fine.lol
 
Ha, yeah he always has some wise old advice he just never has learned to follow any of it. He's got about 4yrs left on a 15yr sentence and he hasn't changed a bit. I walked into the bail bondsman's office once to bail my husband outta jail and as soon as I walk in the door there's a wanted poster w/his picture on it w/a $100,000 reward. He had fled to Texas & his wife eventually turned him in so if anybody knows about betrayal it's him. She wasn't the dead body moving type of gal I guess.
