Hermit seeds

Howdy Jamesking311. Just harvest the buds and let them dry, but not completely dry. I let my buds dry until the leaves start to become crisp, but the buds are still a little 'springy'. I collect the seeds when I prep the bub for smoking or making caps, or whatever. I store the collected seeds in a sealed jar in the freezer for long term storage. The only 'feminized' seeds that I have had have been from the plants producing 'nanners, I have not ever had a true hemimorphite plant (one with both male and female flowers) and the seeds have a better than 50% sprouting rate and all that sprouted, were all female.
Un less I totally missed the meaning of the subject, then I would keep them in separate jars, up in the mountains! LOL!!

You can harvest 4 to 6 weeks after pollination. Personally when I make a plant hermie with tiresias mist that's on purpose and I'm simply running said plant for seeds. In this case the plant is of no concern to me only seeds. Letting the plant go until ripe seeds are falling off will insure you get the most viable seeds possible. Harvesting at 4 to 6 weeks after pollination you'll get like 30 to 60 seeds being generous letting it go you'll get several hundred to a thousand depending on plant size and method used for pollination. Another reason I let it go is because you'll only have like 20% viable seeds vs nonviable seeds.

Personally if I just had a self seeded plant I'd treat it as normal and just gather seeds as I smoked

Not saying yours been going too long that's generally what photos do past harvest date is hermie. If it isnt mentioned heat or light stress can supposedly cause this as well

Collecting hermit seeds can be a bit tricky, but don't worry, you're in the right place to learn more about it. The best time to collect the seeds is when the plant starts to die back, usually toward the end of the growing season. To cure them, dry them out in a cool, dark place for a few weeks. As for whether or not they'll be any good, it really depends on the quality of the parent plants. To ensure you get the best seeds possible, check out some of the top seed banks that ship to the USA. Some of the best ones include ILoveGrowingMarijuana, Seedsman, and Crop King Seeds. Happy growing!

There are a lot of seeds in this store. Can anyone who has made a purchase here express their feedback?
