Hermie!!!

S.O.S.. I do not want to kill the rest of my crop.

So Im pretty sure these are pollen sacs. they are everywhere. For the life of me I could not get a focused picture while on the plant. The are above the stipules below the forming buds. Some bud sites have several of them bunched together.

Am I thinking correct in these are pollen sacs?

Well I killed her already. Couldnt take the chance and no one responded. .

Hope I did the right thing... Peace

If you would take a picture of the whole plant ,we might be able to help, you can't be positive looking at your pics.

Its already dead. It was in the composter before 2 am. It was for sure a hermie. It happened over night. Don't know if it was the defoliation or too large of a dose of nutrients.

I got home from work last night there was more pollen sacs than bud. I compared to a ton of other pictures online to verify.

luckily my other 7 plants aren't showing flowers yet. When I get home from work I'm bleaching the flower tent and spraying all the other plans with water to kill any pollen that may be left.

Well done. That’s a textbook hermie. Genetic predisposition. Pistils and calyxes at first and then a bunch of bananas to pollinate them

So you're more leaning towards it not being environmental or stress, just was a hermie from the start?

To be honest that's what I was thinking as well. If it had only been a couple colas maybe stress or Environmental. But it was an explosion overnight. And it was right after a huge feed. I figure instead of the buds using the food I supplied it all went to the sacs.

Yes. I think theres nothing you could have done to prevent it. Some times just happens. It could be due to the feminization or breeding in general. If you can talk to the company witch you bought the seeds from. They could know for sure

That was actually just bag seed. I found 4 seeds out of the last batch I got from a buddy. Like 6 ozs and 4 seeds. It was self pollinated. They've grow 9 out of 9 females from the seeds they found. I got a bad one apparently.. The other 3 didnt pop at all.

Yeah, if it happened overnight, then I hope for sure you got her out before any pollen was spread. Maybe you stressed her too much with the defol; maybe it was a combo of too much nute and leaf loss...??? I learned on my last grow that stress in flowering is to be avoided, and I got a hermie and some seeds on the other plants, tho the bud is quite good. But it could have been way better. Live and learn.

Exactly now I know kind of things I should back off on during flowering just to not encourage the Hermie process.

Yesterday I sprayed all other 7 plants down with water took every electronic out of both my tents cleaned them. cleaned everything inside both tents with bleach water and even gave them a final misting with my hand sprayer so I made sure everything got coated.

Luckily none of the other seven plants even had pre sex on them. I'm hoping that there's no residual left anywhere that's going to effect my next crop.

Which is why I say I'm a sophomore (second year of growing): I hadn't had to study up on flower stressors until now; the only thing I really knew to do during flower was to lower the humidity. So after my recent research, I realized that I must install a window ac unit in the grow room if I want to grow year round. I had previously rejected that idea, but I've had to come back to reconsider it seriously. It's the only economic way I can keep the right temps in the room during flower, cuz I sure as hell ain't keepin the house thermostat at 70. I do not want another hermie happening because of a stressful environment.

I know thats for sure so many factors. my issue now is Im gun shy.

Im preparing to flip 3 more into flower. But I literally dont want to do anything to make them hermie. This plant it happened so fast and I literally have no ideas why. now im nervous.

I don't want to cut one leaf, I don't want to feed it any food, I don't want to flip the lights to 12 12, I don't want to hit the bloom switch on my lights, none of it

Apparently everything causes stress induced hermaphroditism and it all comes down to luck of the draw. Which is unfortunate for me because I have terrible luck. I mean terrible...
