WHEW!!! It's been decades since I've grown and as I reached for the tweezers and thought to start pulling them off, I thought... "Wait. Those balls have Pistils." Next thought was to check here. Glad that I did! She can stay with the family. ❤️

My last photo grow I cut the main coals off and then kept the rest going for ~ two weeks. After which one of 'new' main colas sprouted a mini banana right out the top. Couldn't miss it from 4 foot away. Chop Chop.

Thanks for the info! I have lower buds on my Hawaiian that I was entertaining cutting off when they are ready which obviously will be before the main matures but won't now. Think I'd rather loose a bit of the Sativa effects on those buds and wait to harvest the whole plant now rather than risk seeds.

I seriously love the way this plant smells like a tropical fruit forest. It's heavenly ❤️

Usually lower buds ripen after the main cola, the main reason people cut them off is that they are often too shaded to yield much quality product, cutting them off redirects the energy to upper parts of the plant with better yield
