I was wondering if anyone had insight into explaining the occurrence of a hermie from seed? I received 17 seeds, first time grow, threw some into a bucket, and later the rest into a starter kit. After sprouting and transferring the sprouts into five gallon buckets/smart pots, I ended up with 18 plants. The extra plant came up and I watched its growth, starting two branches at the base, and identified it as a hermie a few weeks after flowering. I can only think that because of it's stressed start that maybe the genetics went that way because of a rough start? I remember distinctly that it was like part of a root during germination that I thought just fell off or got separated from one of the others, buried it in soil anyway and sure enough it grew. Weird though right?
