Hey guys I been growing for like 4 years on dwc but this is my first rdwc my question is do I have to have the reservoir fill to the top is a 27 gallon tote and 8 5 gallon buckets with each bucket with water to the bottom of the net pot so does the reservoir has to be fill to the top or not cause now that is fill to top I’m having water temp issues cause the chiller is is to slow for so much water need help to keep my water temp cold

Your water height in your buckets will be equal with the height in the reservoir (assuming the system is completely level). Might be time for a chiller upgrade, or you will be dealing with placing frozen water bottles into reservoir and making frozen bottle change outs 2-3 times per day.
