New to the grow and on a very tight budget so please be gentle! I started off breaking the mane root right when it first started to grow. After about three weeks of babying her she started growing really good. It is now a month and three weeks old and in the last couple of days this what is happening. Any thoughts on what is going on. It is in miracle grow soil but it was doing great till the last couple of days. Water ph is 6.2 and I am running a florescence grow light That is about 8 inches above the top leaves. Temp and Humidity is good and I'm also running a small fan to keep the air circulating. Please help! I don't want to loose her after all she has been through!

Ditch the miracle grow...probly raise light...tell us more about your light please....

I commend your patience....I would not of done the same
 
It looks like heat stress, but the light is to close, try about 12 inches, try General Hydroponics nutrients at no more than half the recommended strength or check the GWE webpage for known good nutrients brands.
 
The light is a hydrofarm t5 4ft. I hear so many deferent things about the mg. Some people say it's ok to use and some say it isn't. I will definitely change it out tho. So will it come back from this?
 
Thanks kingfish and thanks to everyone else for the good info. Going to get some fox farm first thing tomorrow. I will post pics and keep you updated on the progress.
 
From my experience, a damaged tap root early will permanently stunt your plant.

Like the others said, get her out of the miracle gro and into something more cannabis friendly.

I dont think you have light stress, 8" for fluorescent should be ok, but since she's having issues, I'd back the light off until she's healthy again.

I know now you're on a budget but don't skimp on the media.

You're probably going to need a stronger light or add some cfls when time to flower.

I will definitely keep that in mind. If I can keep her alive till the end then I will consider that a successful grow even if the yields are not that great. Then on the next one I will be going in with a better knowledge of knowing how to grow, Thanks to you guys on here!!
 
Last week that talk turned into action when Scotts Miracle-Gro bought one of the biggest names in marijuana cultivation – General Hydroponics.
