Ok so I'm making my shed a sealed grow because is just to hard trying to control the temps when I'm sucking in hot or cold air from outside... an makes no sense to heat or cool the room to have it sucked out.. this is currently how everything is setup .. I'm gonna have my 1 8inch fan with carbon filter scrubbing the air in the big room an gonna have the other fan venting the heat from the lights.. now my main concern is the tent an the bottom of the shelves I turned into a little clone/seedling cabinet.. is about 3ft x 1.5 ft x 3ft.. should I put smaller fans to blow air in or out of the cabinets in order to cool them? Cause just with 250 watts of cfls in the little cabinet is to much.. an with the tent closed up it's its getting to hot an not even summer yet.. how would you guys set it up? It looks good you got a intake and exhaust u could do a sealed system which is intake goes through light and out exhaust to push the out the hot air with out taking any air in. But you would need an ac to cool the room. Also air out has to = air in. The laws of hvac also go with straight ducting air doesn't like moving through the ridged pipe. If u have. 440cfm fan in u need a 440cfm fan in but if u have a air in and out it should keep it decently cool since u will be replacing the air in the room every couple seconds any way that's my input
I am gonna try an do a sealed room only because it's hard to keep temps stable in a shed.. granted it has been insulated an finished right but is still only a small shed ,an sucking in the outside air usually screws up temps an is to got 2 cold.. so gonna use the one 720cfm fans to vent the lights, from the outside intake to each light to the fan blowing out the side.. right now it's a 400 an 600 watt hps/mh gonna add another 400 soon so it's a 400,600,400 hung in that order.. an hoping i dont need to add co2 since the window units are basically cooling the outside air before blowing it thru.. so in all reality it should be fine right.. I mean maybe add an exhale bag or 2 but other then that.. an with the tent I guess I could run a duct from the one vent of the ac to the with flex duct or something.. or should I just cool the air outside the tent an put a little fan up exhausting air from In the tent to the room which in turn sucks colder air from the room in..? An do the same for the cabinet? I also am running a 2nd 720 cfm fan with 8inch carbon filter.

You do not get all of the benefits of having c02. I have 2 flower rooms ,constantly better results from room with co2. Larger colas , faster growth. First picture room 1 w/c02. Picture 2 no c02. Both blue dream auto same age 315 lec room 1. 400 hps room 2.

do you water your lawn often where you live? is there a spigot for running water? if so build a redneck chiller. car radiator, hook hoses to inlet and outlet, squirrel cage blower, garden hose and sprinkler.
as you water your lawn the cold water runs through the radiator and the fan blows through the radiator making it colder in your room. going to try that this summer. i too am in an uninsulated barn and it is going to be a challenge keeping temps down and the humidity as well. the struggle is real my friend.

glad to help. an old man down the road cools his shop with an old "school" radiator/heater and keeps his shop cool with no a/c. he made his own wood boiler as well and sends the heated water through it to heat it in the winter.
