Help with indoor Grow

I'm a beginner grower (this is my 2nd grow). My medium is organic soil I mix myself (Fox Farm's Happy Frog, another organic OMRI certified potting mix, plenty of perlite, sphagnum peat moss), I've been using the fabric "smart pots" (which I haven't had luck in, in the past - but I couldn't afford to buy something else so I had to re-purpose), however this time I took a knife and poked some holes in the bottom and the sides for extra drainage.

Germinated 3 Jack Herrer Fem 5-10-20, along with one "unknown" (supposedly Tangerine Dream or Cream, also fem). They germinated fine. Put them in some water for 24 hours, then in the paper plate with the paper towels. Everyone germed, and then I put them all in solo cups (holes punched in the bottom). By 5-15-20, every single one of them had at least 2 sets of leaves along with the cotyledons.

My FIRST BIG MISTAKE was letting them get too big in the solo cups. By the time I transported them into the 3-gallon smart pots, it was clear as day that the roots were SO root bound, they were literally growing back UP. Strange this was, the leaves and everything looked amazing at that point, so it was just a matter of me not realizing that once the leaves PASS the circumference of the cup, I should have immediately transplanted. MY BAD. Now I was in survival mode, hoping that once I transplanted them - they would start to spread out more.

I have one plant that looks "decent", but the uppermost leaves are curling up (as if it's too hot in there). I can't imagine how that could be the case, I keep playing with the lights (I have a 600 Watt Electric Sky, which is not even on its full strength, and 1 PHLIZON LED I got a long time ago off amazon). I have plant #2 that looks oddly discolored and plant #3 (all the Jack Herrer fems) that also looks discolored. What's "weird" is that there seems to be so much smaller vegetative growth going on "in-between" nodes (hopefully, the pictures will make sense), they were/are touching leaves a lot. Last night, I sterilized a pruner and cut the tips off whatever I could find that was either touching the soil, the other leaves, or the pot itself. I'm not as concerned about the unknown tangerine strain b/c even though it's growing slower, it seems to be doing much better overall.

Sidenote: I took 3 OTHER Jack Herrer fems from the same germination period and planted them outside. Two is partial sun, mostly shade, and one in mostly sun. The two in mostly shade are gigantic and show no signs of "issues" other than one leaf that looks to have been eaten by a pest.

Anyway, I'm going to upload the pics now of the indoor grow.

I keep my temp between 73-78, and I've noticed that these girls like the lower temps. At the beginning at I had two humidifiers in there, rH 60-75% (at night it would be higher, bc I close the tent at night so I can sleep bc sadly it's in my bedroom). I have 3 fans circulating air, and I have my filter set up at the top to pull any hot air out (however I have to fix it bc it's currently not connected).

Showing early signs of magnesium deficiency. Give it a good soaking of CalMag with ph 6.7-6.8 the next time you water and it should improve quickly. Good looking plants!

greengoatgrow lift the pot if it's light give it water. I keep a calendar of when i water and feed it helps me. Anyway you plants look good doing a good job. See the tips getting a tad brown that's a sign of N burn we all get it when we are learning to dose and feed. That's just a sign i wanted to point out. Yes add the above calmag.

Thanks, everyone! I flushed them this morning and found that the pH was/is a little low. I did see that slight Nitrogen burn, myself. The problem (larger scale) I'm working with is - I had stopped growing for over a year. In that time I was using Advanced Nutrients, which my family stored in a not-so-great spot this whole time. Since I'm low on funds right now, and I have about 70 seeds that need to at least be attempted to germinated or given away/thrown out, I was just gonna do a complete "free for all" lol, and start germinating whatever came up, working with whatever looked decent, and use this experience as a way to get "my groove back" so to speak. Otherwise, I wasted a shit ton of money on seeds. I kept them all labeled in old school black film containers, in a box in a mini-fridge. So far? Out of about 12 Ive attempted to germ, only 2 failed. Which I'm happy with.

For the Advanced Nutrients I have the following:
1. The Basic Micro (2-0-0), Grow (1-0-4), Bloom (1-3-4)
2. SENSI CAL MAG Xtra (4-0-0) with iron, kelp, and micro-nutrients (Now, this is the one I need right now, but I don't want to overdo the Nitrogen. Thankfully, it seems it be only one or two leaves that seem to have the Nitrogen OD). 3. B-52 (Vitamin B1, Stalk, Stem & Bud Strengthener)
4. Sensizym (powerfully cleans root/root-zone debri, contains Beta-Glucose,Cellulose, and Xylanase)
5. BUSHDOCTOR - Kelp Me, Kelp You (Seaweed Plantfood my mom got me lol, .5-0-.5) She likes that I have a hobby.
6. SUPERThrive Original Vitamin Solution includes Kelp (very similar to the above)
7. Microbe Hydroponics Verified Organic NOURISH-L (Concentrated Ancient Uptake Compost Extract). I saw a lot of things that work with both hydro and soil. Picked this up a while back, basically bc it said "may aid in Nutrient Uptake, increases water retention, provides humic acids." Interestingly, it is ITEM#: PH21231 Not registered for sale in AR, CA, HI, IL, KS, MN, OK, OR, SD or Canada. So naturally, I had to buy it lmao.

**Back to the Advanced Nutrients (now don't think I'm rich here, cause I'm not. The only bottles I bought 2.6lbs. were #1 and #2, the rest I bought the smallest containers, just to test them out. It was some kinda package deal on Amazon a million years ago, for a bunch of 250mL or 500mL bottles)**

8. Advanced Nutrients Bud Candy - "Critical Carb Mix for Big Nugs", this is for the BLOOM Phase only, however it lists 5 microbe cards, and .5% water soluble Magnesium (Mg)
9. AN "Overdrive' - "Last Phase Bud Ripener and Weight Gainer" 1-5-4
10. VOODOO JUICE - Beneficial Bacteria, Rootzone expander and colonizer. No N-P-K, it's all "good bacteria" for roots
11.Rhino Skin (which I swear by, also from AN) - It's a stalk stiffener 0-0-0.4, doesn' t seem like much of anything but it guaranteed analysis is Soluble Potash .4%, derived from Potassium silicate. Used during the
BLOOM phase.
12. AN "BIG BUD" - "puts the big in yer buds" 0-1-3

CURRENT GROW UPDATE: Soil/Perlite/Peat Moss, 3x3x6 Mylar Tent, Electric Sky 300 (1x), PHLIZON LED (1x), 4" circulating fans (4x), I leave the tent open during the day, close it around 10-11pm (I go to sleep early, I'm old leave me alone), I have the carbon filter system set up on top to take hot air out of the room (4" fan and filter), and a 6" fan on the bottom bringing more air into the room. Temp. steady at 72-75F, rH 65-50%

I have this one plant out of the 4 which I mentioned in my original post, it's not Jack Herrer, it said it was something like "Tangerine Dream or Cream" (I can't remember and it was a freebie after a large purchase, I wasn't paying enough attention). Anyhow, I decided to start it with the Jack Herrer Photoperiods. What I've noticed in the last week or even MORE, is that this plant looks very much like an auto-flowering plant, and it's already begun to grow calyxes and what appears to me to be female sex organs. I will post pics, and ask that others give their opinions as well. Now, because of this - I started to become concerned leaving this plant in with the photoperiods. If this is indeed an auto-flowering, and it's now showing signs of pre-flowering, shouldn't I be looking to move it to a 12/12 space? Problem with that is - I haven't set the other tent up yet, it's gonna take a LOT of work and yet, I hate to just get rid of what seems to be a perfectly fine plant. I considered putting her outside and letting her get used to the natural day/night cycle - which honestly isn't that different from how I would turn my lights on/off during flower. Again, have a look at let me know what you think. Also, if anyone can figure out what strain this COULD be (help me narrow it down), that would be amazing and greatly appreciated.

Moving along, so last time it was suggested to me to add some Cal-Mag which I did and that did seem to help so thank you for that. I put up a couple more yellow sticky gnatcatchers because apparently a bunch had gotten in the house one day (I blame my the teenager and her 500 friends eating all my food). I also went ahead and added some Epsom Salts to water (just water, not nutrient water), and poured the water in 2-3 plants (again, I don't remember which because I have a terrible memory, and everyone keeps telling me to keep a journal. I want to - I just get lazy, and basically have no good excuse so there ya go). I do know for SURE that 2 of the plants were Jack Herrer and I did NOT put any Epsom Saltwater in the "Tangerine Autoflower". The next day or so, I noticed what LOOKS like the dreaded White PM (White Powdery Mildew) on the OUTSIDE of two of the fabric smart pots. This white stuff, whatever it is/was just appeared on the outside surface of the fabric pots. With my thumb it rubs off, if I wet my thumb it rubs off even better. I looked at the leaves like a crazy man, trying to see if I could find any powdery mildew on the actual leaves themselves or in the soil. Nothing. I did notice that when I lifted the pots that had white stuff on it, a thin layer of "white stuff" seemed to develop on the black drain stand I have them on. I have searched other forums as well as this one, and can't seem to find an answer. I have pictures, so you will all get a chance to see what it looks like. Outside of that, and some slight "burn" on the leave tips of one particular plant which I think is simply too close to the light - the plants, TO ME, look relatively healthy. In fact, today I did some pruning and LST, even some super cropping, but before their "haircuts", they looked full, rich, nice color, etc. The only thing that was annoying was the fact that I forgot you shouldn't spray the NEEM OIL directly on the top surface of the leaf (I usually spray the underside, by the stomata, and the soil itself). So, now many of my leaves have this oily sheen appearance to them which does NOT come off with anything so it's just there and that's that. Even though I know what it is, it's still irritating to me lol.

I'll try to post pics of them after pruning and training.

SIDENOTE: I also have 3 Jack Herrer Photoperiod fem currently growing outdoors, all were started at the same time. I've never grown outdoors before so I thought I'd experiment. One I planted in direct sun; big beautiful sun most of the day. The other day I planted in a place that's mostly shade, with a few hours of the early morning sun but even then it's "partly", bc there's a fence blocking the sun a bit. THOSE plants seem to be thriving. They aren't growing as much vegetation, but the color and the height of the plants are amazing. The one directly left in the heat daily has a slight leaf-curl - clearly under heat stress.

FINALLY: I started 5 more seeds, they all germinated and are now seedlings. The start date on those is 6-10-20. 2 of them are Girl Scout Crack, 3 of them are MoneyMaker. They are all doing well, moving all in their solo cups. I noticed that one of the GSC seedlings is extremely robust and growing "like a weed", whereas the other - still growing, but not as vibrant green, slightly yellow. Any thoughts on that would be great, as that strain is one of my faves and I kinda had high hopes for those two.
