Help!!! What is this and how do I get rid of it?!?!?

Hi,
I'm a fairly new grower and recently switched over to a hydroponic setup. I recently realized that there is some sort of mold of fungus growing down amongst the lower leaves. It is spreading pretty quickly. It doesn't look like anything I could find on the site. Can anyone tell me what it is and if I can salvage this crop? i'm too far in to lose it!! Any help is appreciated.

When I looked at the pic I thought it was some spider mite infestation, but if it is some type of mildew or molding then I personally would cut the lower sites off and carefully monitor in the next few days to make sure it's not spreading. Removing just the infected site shouldn't put any additional stress on your plant. Good luck

Thanks for your advice. I did what you said and cut everything out. I think the humidity was one of the problems so I also put a dehumidifier in. I was wondering if it is advisable to wipe the stalks down with hydrogen peroxide? I've heard of doing this to roots with algae growing on them. Also, the roots look great. no problem there.
