Alot of cultivar have different phenotypes within their genotype. You got the tall bushy "type". Look for a low PVI for a more stable strain. I like seeing the different phenos ,or "expressions" is what alot of conisours call it. To me it's dope, Where's me pipe.
Ive germinated seeds that were years old. The outer shell gets hard. You need to soak them for a day before the paper towel method is used has been my experience.
