This is my second year at trying to grow plants. The first year was a disaster at which point I dug in and started to study and get correct products to grow (no more Miracle Grow). Out of 6 plants everything going well but on three plants there are brown spots. They don't seem to fit into the pictures. Four plants are feminized and one shows some brown spots. The picture is the Feminized plant which shows the worst spotting. Two are Bag Seed and both show some brown. On all I used the same soil, "Timberline Soil" from Home Depot. It is a top soil and here are no nutrients added, (or so they say). The top soil may be too hot. PH on all read between 6.0 and 7.0, (occasionally the digital pH meter will drop to 5.9 and then quickly jump back up to the mid 6's.
The Nutes are different for the Feminized and the Bag Seed. The Feminized seeds came in a package deal from Nirvana and I have the Soiltabs in there now. I may have put the Soiltabs in a few days early. On the Bag Seeds I had to get the Fox Farms Nutrients. So I'm not sure if it is a nutrient problem, but it could be.
I have them in an indoor grow room (about 4' x 4') with a small space heater on a timer to co-ordinate with the timer on the lights. Temp is usually between 80 to 84 during the light period (16 hours per day). It goes down during the dark period, but not more than 10 or 15 degrees. It has ventilation and a 300 Watt LED Grow light. I may have had them too close to the light. My light was 16 to 18" above the plants. Lowered that considerably to 34-36". It appears by the pictures taken on different dates that that might have helped.
Any ideas on what I need to adjust? (see attached photos) Thanks for any help you can send my way.

BTW, at 74 I'm excited about being a part of a new evolving revolution in growing your own. When I was in my 20's (I miss the 60's) the weed at that time was a whole different animal. Had to stop smoking for over three decades to raise a family and when I came back the new weed really packed a wallop. While doing over 40 Ayahuasca journeys during the last six years, I tried smoking again and voila (!) what a fantastic high. It was like a mini "Aya" journey. I have a young friend, half my age that is working with me on this and learning also. I can foresee that in about 5 or 10 years the majority of the supply will come from home growers.
