Hello, thanks to all of you in advance. I am a first time grower and in desperate need of some advice. I am depending on these plants very much. I live in a non-legal state and have an array of chronic health issues so they are very important to me. I noticed browning and curling of the leaves about 4 days ago. The browning is spreading to all of the seedlings now along with a white substance that is on the clay pebbles and in the rockwool. I have scoured the internet and have come to the conclusion that I may have over-saturated the plants with nutrients, are giving them to much light, or have a fungal infestation. Before I start making changes though I wanted to see what you experts thought.
Strains: Northern Lights and Critical CBD (both from Nirvana seeds)
Medium: Rockwool, hydroponic
Lighting: VIPARSPECTRA UL Certified Reflector Series V300 300W LED positioned ~ 2 feet from the seedlings. The seedlings have been on a 24 hour light cycle since they sprouted.
Temperature: With the lighting and not so great ventilation system the temperature is usually around 84 degrees Fahrenheit. I know this is to hot but I am weary to open the tent for greater ventilation for fear that household pests (mostly fruit flies and fungus gnats) will infect the plants.
pH: pH is maintained ~ 5.7
Nutrient type and schedule:
For the 1[SUP]st[/SUP] week after the seedlings sprouted this is what was given: 2.5 ml FloraGro, 2.5 ml FloraMicro, 2.5 ml FloraBloom, 2ml Hydroguard. This is per 1 gallon. After noticing curling and browning of the leaves I thought maybe it was nutrient burn so the next week the nutrients were quartered.
Week 2: 2.5 ml FloraGro, 1.9 ml FloraMicro, .625 ml FloraBloom, 2ml Hydroguard. The water was changed and these measurements were added 2 days ago. Again I decreased the recommended amount of nutrients by 75% because I was afraid I gave them to much in week 1. The seedlings have continued to brown since this.
