Hi. I just received 1/4 pound of Hemp that I intend to make cbd oil with my magic butter machine. My question is do I decarboxylate the Hemp before processing it in the machine. Thanks.

Maybe look up the Machine model you have and find the directions , see what the manufacturer says. I’m sure they know 😉

Yes, anytime you do anything other then smoke cannabis, you need to decarb.

Depends on what one wants, if you dont want to get high dont decarb it THCa and CBDa vs THC and CBD. My Sister uses it raw.

Making green butter doesn't really decarb it as it only gets to just under 100⁰C.
Adding the green butter and then cooking it, well, I guess that decarbs it pretty well at about 180⁰C.
Not decarbing it at all still gets me pretty stuffed up. Parts of it absorbs nicely through the skin also when extracting the butter from the organic material by hand but the effects are not great on me...shaking, nervousness etc....not a great experience with what I grow.

Hey. That's awesome you're making CBD oil with your magic butter machine. Decarboxylating the hemp before processing is a good idea for optimal potency. I remember when I tried making CBD oil for the first time; decarbing made a noticeable difference in the final product's effectiveness. By the way, have you heard about how some people buy weed for medicinal purposes? It's great to see more options available for natural remedies like CBD oil.
